In what way is law and order upheld? do the police uphold it or does culture, education, experience or if we know how to deal with dangerous situations......
Being afraid is a natural reflex but to assume that without government everything would fall apart is the same reflex that brought about PC (political correctness) over hygenism, touristic colonialism or the European fortress....
rather in small communities anarchy would by a dynamic change to having to wait to be allowed to do something, maybe a more coordinated approach would be appreciated, but to make generalisations out of failure rather than see that were people who wished to live in such a way given the freedom to do so would be able to devellop and help society much more than by being forced to live within a society where the only substantial offering we have is to work and pay taxes....
your mail also fails to recognise that non/productive work, independance and autonomy answers many of the liberla capitalistic negative side affects such as unemployment, pollution, stress, over capitalisation......
sure we could all go to megadodo, but why do earthlings close their eyes and burn the forests....i.e see indymedia melbourne link for Australian's govt plans to burn wood for electricity while continuing to mine uranium for the rest of the world....
