Car accidents in Malta

Someone said that the rate of near-misses in car accidents in Malta may be somehow related to the sun. NONSENSE!
We have so many accidents here in Malta due to
1) The horrible state of the roads. Most of Malta's 'roads' are really pure rock with a thin layer of pseuodo-tarmac on top.
2) Maltese driving standards. The only thing that is high in Maltese driving is the speed some poeple drive.
3) Amount of cars in the road. The population of Malta is about 370,000, and there is a car for every 1.5 persons living here.
4) The amount of woman drivers. Self-explanatory really!
So if you care to visit this nice island of us (and I think you ought to, it is really a nice holiday resort), bring your sea-sickness tablets, and also a packet of Valium to stay calm while driving!
