h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

i had this operation done 3 wks ago 2morrow so it is fairly recent. my experience was nothing like i was prepared for i had heard all the different stories about the pain and the operation itself. mine was the vertical cut from belly button to just on top of groin area i had mine done because i had cancer. my operation involved the removal of uterus, lymth nodes(47), cervix, tissue, tubes and top third part of my vagina. i was on morphine for 2 days, had drain bag removed on 4th day and caphitar bag removed on 5th day they normally remove this on the 7th day but because i was doing so well and it was starting to irritate they removed it earlier i came home on my 7thd ay and they don;t normally let u home until the 8th to 10th day, having the drain removed was not has bad as i thought it would be it was over in seconds the pain i have had is just like period pain and i am getting stronger each day everybodys experience is different but if any1 who is waiting for this doing please believe me it is not as bad as u may have heard. i was out of bed the day after for a walk around my bed that i could have done without all i wanted to do was sleep but by friday i was mobile not far but never the less mobile i had mine done on the wednesday so i wasnot doing bad thank you for reading
