Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.

I've read this over and I think I'm getting the idea that this Orchestra does not actually play so if I hypothetically wanted to join as a Suzaphonist, I could (I don't play that instrument). If this is correct, please play a C, Do, Ut or Sa. If this in incorrect, please play a D, Re or Re and answer me this; can I join as a pianist? (I play that instrument)
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.

We don't play as an orchestra (or haven't yet)... but our members do all play the instruments mentioned. So although you could join as a Sousaphonist, you'd have to actually play it.
I'd be delighted to have you as another pianist. We do have quite a few now, which is a good thing - it stretches the load on the (numerous, I believe) piano works we have in our canon.

I'm the principal clarinettist, and I founded the orchestra, if that counts for anything. So I suppose I count as musical director, or some such other omniscient role of administration.
I am not, however, the conductor.
I am in charge.
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.

Oh no! I ne'er said that! Oh ney! Pray you! Stop crying. Oh dear. I simply was attempting to improve your site not to offend you. That's all. Would you like a tissue or a kleenex?
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.

Oh. Good.
We debated asking someone like Peta, Mark, Abi, Ashley, etc to be conductor (And, much earlier, DNA). But we're not sure how well they'd suit the role.
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.
David R. Litwin Posted Mar 29, 2002
You asked Douglass Noel Adams to conduct? You mean, he had an account here?
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.
njan (afh) Posted Mar 29, 2002

Then I am ever so sorry that I could not have read H2G2 and it's sequels 3 or 4 years ago so I could have been one of the first hear so I could have spake with HIm. Wow. I can't imagine having spoken with an author of a book I loved; let alone D. N. A. It makes me very very sad.
Well, I Think I'd like to Apply.

*nods*
Lots of people who aren't with us'll be missed. Some more than others.
The world's a sadder place without him.
