I'm not sure what you can do on Telewest, so I've asked the other ACEs if they can help. I'm sure one of them will be able to
One of us will be back soonish, with an answer

I speak for PC Users only!
First you need to select some text by holding shift and moving the cursor, by pressing Control-A (select ALL) or by dragging the mouse while holding the left mouse button down.
After some text is selected:::::::
Cut:
It's either Control-X or Shift Delete
Copy
Control-C
Paste
Either Control-V or Shift Insert
Also, rightclick loads a menu that lets you choose from all of the above and more

What do you do in order to push buttons then? do you have a touch-screen? because if you do, it's a lot like a mouse, and you can just drag your finger/stylus-pen in roder to select text

Hi SPRIKSPROK(F)
I have a Telewest connection but was not aware that they offered TV-Web which was able to connect to h2g2, although I must admit I dont use this part of the digital service because its so slow and not much on it anyway.
Do you mean you are on a computer and connected via Telewest (Cableinet)(Blueyonder) ???
If this is the case you can cut and past in the normal manner.
You put the mouse pointer at the beginning of the text you wish to copy - keeping you finger down on the left mouse button and roll over the text you wish to copy.
This will highlight the text - take your finger off the mouse button and press the 'ctrl key' on your computer and 'the letter 'c' at the same time - this seems to do nothing but it will have copied the text into memory.
Now go to the area you wish to paste the text and click with the mouse where you wish to text to go and press 'Ctrl' and 'v' keys at the same time - walla you have copied and pasted your text.
If you wish to copy all the text in the picture boxes - it is easier if you click inside the box - press Ctrl and 'a' together and this will highlight all the text - then just follow the above (Ctrl-c) to copy and (Ctrl-v) to paste.
I hope this helps - If you are on TV-Web then perhaps another of the ACES could call on aka who is on a different TV-web but they all work in a similar way.
all the best

Woops - I half typed the last reply and was called away to do something - in the mean time others have given you the normal cut and past techniques.
sorry for duplicating what others have already said.
What ever you use to click on the reply button - you use to click on text.

MMMm - as I said I dont go into the TV - I found it so slow and hard on the eyes - so no, I dont go into the chat rooms and didnt bother to get a keyboard. One of my customer has the full set up - I will ask to see his keyboard and find out if they know what is what.
If not, email [email protected] - They will complain and say go to the website but if you explain you are having problems and did not know where to get the advice you need. They can be very helpful.
