Well, I don't know about the Loving Bit, but I knew someone photographed me...
...I also heard a lot of people saying I'd break their cameras if I looked at them too long.

Hi everyone!

Not bad at all thanks. Wondering quite how it is I manage to plan my time so that I go out every night during the week and then somehow end up with nothing to do on Friday... And my net connection doesn't work yet from my new home in London, so I can't even drop back in on h2g2 later. Oh well, I've got to make the place vaguely presentable for tomorrow evening!
And how are you?

The Fish Posted Dec 2, 2000
Quite.... It's very odd not doing anything on a Friday night, except watching the comedy...
You and your Jet-setting life Ian!
What's happening tomorrow?

I'm sleeping, that's what. Then I'm going to try to get to the scanner. Again. I could go now actually, but it's 3 am and too cold to be out and about.

Hmmm.... you'd have thought I would have assumed the same thing..... But NO....... I went for a ramble at about 4... It was nice and quiet..... however after I'd gotten about half a mile, the heavens completely opened and errr.... I got a little wet..... but luckily I had my umberella
It was quite amazing actually, because you could hear this pressure wave infront of all the rain...... then all you could hear WAS the rain
Oh well.. nevermind....

Phil Posted Dec 2, 2000
Well I've now got my photos back. Time to find a scanner soon I think.

My photos are now online. Well, the best ones anyway. You can find them at [url removed by moderator]
Look, point, laugh and appreciate me having to learn some more PHP to make the page work right... but more PHP is always useful, yes?
Now I have to go eat.

Nice photos MAW
The bowling alley is probably about the only place I could use my shirt as camouflage

Cool, more photos! Can't view them proper at the moment as I can only view in less than 256 colours on my beloved Amiga so they're all a bit messed up , I'll have to wait until I'm back at Uni tomorrow night

"Someone I'm not sure of the name of, Phil, someone else, a partially obscured person, Abi expressing her disapproval of the whole photography business, Bald Bloke and Towelmaster"
- It's Zed, Phil, Anna (Pastey II) I think a partially obscured Shazz - not sure, though...
Oh, and Peregrin always looks like that

More php is always good. Except when, like me you've just decided to learn it, look at it, think, easy enough looking, then realise the seemingly endlessly lengthy process of actually installing the bleeding thing to work with a personal web server

MaW Posted Dec 2, 2000
Pastey, I found a very nice precompiled version of Apache for Windows, which I then was able to add a precompiled PHP module to without much fuss at all. And then I even managed to compile the Linux version as well!
Anyone know who's foot's in Joe's lap? Mina says it's not hers as I originally thought it might be.
