absolutely fascinating.
What size are you working in? And how big is the .jpg file?
They told me to limit it to 500 pixels.

I draw them at about A4 size, ink with a dip pen and india ink, and then scan and colour in Photoshop.
We went to 600px width here, because it's actually easier to reduce them to under 100KB that way. (They're about 99KB) At a smaller size, there would be even more artifacts long before it got that small 
I plan to mirror them (a few days after 
) at a higher resolution on webcomicsnation, but haven't gotten around to it.
