DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO TRIES TO PERSUADE YOU TO EAT HAGGIS!!
one of the most irksome things about the UK (otherwise the best island on the planet) is that so many people seem to derive joy from feeding this stuff to you and laughing at the consequences - it does more damage to your gastro-intestinal tract than 19 pangalactic gargleblasters (but not more than 20) and has the same effect on your breath as kissing a vogon
