h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, I am backfrom two weeks in sunny La Palma.

There was quite a lot of backlog, so I don't know if I got everything. As far as I could see, Bossel still needs transport from Schiphol. As I pass it coming from Amstelveen, I can pick him up, if I know which plane (flightnumber) he has.
The only thing I cannot find anywhere, is the adress in Alphen, where we should report in.

Do we need to bring anything like sleeping mattrasses or -bags?

I have heard from Peta and they are also hoping to arrive sometime around lunchtime on Friday. So TM and I will also travel to Schiphol, probably with in tow if he isn't exhausted by his nine hours of train travel and a wild night in Het Kasteel!

Perhaps the easiest thing, as there will be four of them requiring lifts, would be to share them between us and then you can follow us.

Okay, I went to the Sex Museum and asked(Felt kind of weird) if they were open Sunday. And they said they are open from 9 to 22:30. That's the one called something like Venus Temple Sex Museum.

Almost everything is open in Amsterdam on the sundays

Oh, btw, for the people who are coming from Amsterdam to Alphen, there are two ways to get there:
1. Interliner bus 370 from het Leidseplein to Alphen aan den Rijn, get off the bus at the Herenhof shopping centre, the stop is called "Oude Ambacht"

2. Train from Amsterdam to Leiden, at Leiden you have to switch trains to the Leiden-Utrecht train, which stops in Alphen as well.

I'm not sure about the timetable for both though, but the sites should provide that information. interliner(nl) and NS(nl)

I would be surprised if there was only one sex museum in Amsterdam But Mina, the one I am talking about is close to Central Station. You just get out of it, and then keep on walking forward. I'm sure you'll see it, it has some statues in front. One is of a satyr with an erection and no arms, poor guy

I think that's a bonus! No arms, that'll save wear and tear on the cuffs.

If you come by plane, be carefull where you carry your cuffs or other hardware. If it's in your hand-baggage, it may be confiscated. On Schiphol they will give you the chance to mail it to your home, but I don't know about other countries.

Even in the happy days of years ago, customs at Heathrow decided the (plastic) super-soaker for my son was a potential danger, and had it travel separately in the cockpit! The funny thing was, it came out first on the luggage-band, and the rest of the luggage 15 minutes later.

I'll probably only bring hand luggage, but I think I'll leave the accesories at home. There's always the thrill of making someone stay still because I say so, not just because I make them.

anyway, I'm sure I can take a few hours off, it's not as if there won't be anything else to do.
