A Conversation for Mock-Goths
Goth Hide & Seek

This is a game discussed in the truly hilarious book, 'He Died With A Felafel in his Hand' by John Birmingham, which is all about the author's experiences house sharing in Australia. He talks about houses he has known, with all the surfaces of the house sprayed black and a goat's skull above the fireplace.
Anyway, 'goth hide & seek' involves the inhabitants of said house all getting stoned out of their minds, turning off all the lights in the house, then going off one by one and hiding without telling anyone, until there's only one stoned-blind person staggering around a pitch-black house wondering where the hell everyone else is.
Hmm. It was funnier in the book.

It's amusing in the telling, too. (What is a falafel, anyway? I've been puzzled for ages on that one.)
They sound more like Real Goths, however, as Mock-Goths don't take drugs (their mothers would be SO disappointed) and would never do anything so childish as play jolly fun games in the dark.
