h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The mad Italic Murderer is here again...

The h2g2 Italics were all invited to a bbc party at the Ugonadye Mansion. Six couragous folk agreed to go, and took over the top floor of the mansion staying in six seperate rooms. A number of the rooms border on other rooms, by border, I mean that they at some point share the same wall. A map of the rooms (but not who was in them) can be found here A756588.
In the middle of the night the Italics were awoken by police officers and told one of their number Peta had been horribly murdered by being stabbed in the back. The remaining Italics, Abi, Mina, Ashley, Sam and Jimster were all taken to the Mansion bar (where better to solve the mystery), and the following true facts were discovered. One of Peta's co-italics did kill her, can you help the police in solving this dastardly (and possible mutley) murder.

Your job, should you choose to accept it is to tell me who murdered Peta, and what room number, according to the map they were staying in.


1. The killer's room and Peta's room border on the same number of rooms.
2. Sam's room borders on only two rooms, both occupant share the same initial.
3. Peta's room border's on Abi's room, Mina's room and Jimster's Room.
4. Ashley's room borders on the same number of rooms as Sam.
5. Jimster's room borders with more rooms than anyone else.

No, if you watch her closely you can tell she just bristles with pent up frustration. I'm just surprised there's not been a trail of corpses.

No idea. If we haven't seen him in say about six moonths tell the police to check out the consevatry at Bush House for lead piping, rope, daggers, revolvers and candlesticks
