A Conversation for d'Elaphant's Apartment (vacant)

I've run out of bread and I have promised myself not to bring anything home, not even groceries, in the hope that I will eat much of what is in my kitchen, and thus have less to move. It is difficult to make a sandwich without bread.
I estimate that the quality food will last me through the weekend, then I will begin eating dinners of canned soup and crackers. This is not a good thing to do, since poor nutrition seems to be linked to things like fatigue, muscle weakness, and lately in my case, hives. I can counter it with a nutritious lunch when I am at work, but since I am taking some time off this week, that will only be two meals. Of course I can always eat out.
But now it is coming up to lunch time, and I am in the middle of a mess and do not want to leave it and I have no bread. Time to open a can of soup.
