Being from Hertfordshire, I don't mind who wins as long as it's not Essex or Middlesex. I was adopted into Hampshire (the company I worked for used to sponsor occasional games, which meant free tickets for the team!), but soon will hopefully be able to join the county I most admired as a lad - Somerset.
Not for Botham, Richards and Garner, you understand. No, I loved the proper West Country yeomen, the Vic Markses, the Trevor Gards and the Colin Dredges.
