A Conversation for Seattle

I can thoroughly recommend the Museum of Flight to anyone with the remotest interest in aircraft and flying. The wide-ranging collection of aircraft in the main hall is superb. I'm a glider pilot myself and was delighted to find my branch of the sport represented. The old Red Barn where Boeing started off is home to a nice bit of history.
Attractions in the centre of Seattle ought to include Pioneer Square don't you think? Loads of bars and music there for the night-time and the Underground Tour kept me very well amused one rainy afternoon.

I'd love to have gone to the M of F but we had no time. Hopefull I'll get some work experience near there (I live in England) for my Aero Engineering uni course.
If you pop a little description of Pioneer Square I'll put it in the article. Thanks,
Nick

Here's a brief description for you. Please feel free to use as much or as little as you see fit.
Pioneer Square, an area East of downtown where the city of Seattle began back in 1852. Lively day and night, the Square is full of coffee shops, galleries, restaurants and bars (most have live music in the evenings).
When Seattle was founded this area was at sea level but after a devastating fire was raised an entire storey around 1890. The new streets were just built directly above the original ones and the less respectable citizens of the city moved their activities underground. The excellent Underground Walking tour takes you through the remains of the old streets and gives a different perspective on local history.

OK, sorry about the wait but I've put that bit in, that's great.
Do you live in Seattle?

No, I'm in the UK but my sister lives there. I've visited a couple of times and since she's working all day, I spent most of my days exploring the city. She keeps lending me her car to try and make me go further afield but I just like exploring Seattle.

If she's ever in need of someone to visit her and she will pay for the flight, I'll kindly offer. I love Seattle!
