Is Bulgarian language similar to Serbian and Russian ones?

Absolutely wrong. Quite the opposite!
The Bulgarian is acknowledged as one of the three classical languages along with the Greek and Latin. It is the first written in Cyrillic.
All other slavic languages have derived from the Bulgarian.
This fact is already nailed in the EU/Bulgarian treaty.
