Ahhhhh...
Before I posted my earlier reply I had just visited Magnolia's PS and seen a thread with some v familiar names - but still didn't recognise your alter-ego, and this after reading of your (MoG's) log-in woes the other day
Hope the new machine is proving fun otherwise

The laptop is great, though I'm using the original spaceship right now. Bigger monitor. And yes, size *does* matter. I *think* I got bumped this time because the required password length has increased from 6 to 7 characters, though I didn't change it when I last re-entered. *sigh* Hey, did *you* have anything to do with that?
h2g2 support knows me by name now, sadly. I'm *sure* they'll be happy to see yet another email from me in the morning.

definitely not strategy. Possibly strategery. Ahh, it's all up to Az anyway - I never put my tinfoil helmet on anymore.

GD- my old website has managed to clock up visitors from countries I've barely heard of http://extremetracking.com/open;geo?tag=adric
You can't help wondering how much the poeple in some of those countries know about Doctor Who.

Probably better to do Apple baiting here in private I reckon Kea.

Here in *private*?
I'd bet folding money that Apple has seen this thread, and also the cabal pic gallery. Especially as I posted a link to the pic gallery on Alex's and my chat thread, shortly after Apple had made an 'appearance' there.
I kinda think she is enjoying the bit of 'fame and notoriety' she has been getting. I mean, let's face it, without Hoo she is simply just another annoying researcher. He is the one who made her 'special' (so to speak) by constantly calling her on her bad behaviour and demanding that she take responsibility for her often ridiculous postings.
Think about it. A woman who has really not a lot to say, except to repeat ad nauseum what she believes to be 'true and right' based on . . . well, just what she thinks. Usually this sort of researcher would have been buried long ago. But somehow Hoo elevated her hootoo status into something that needed to be reckoned with.
Frankly, I mostly find her annoying. And - as can be seen on my PS - I *have* tried to be friends with her. The result was that she kept telling me that everytime I disagreed with her on any thread I was being 'just like Hoo and the rest', which, after Hoo took a powder, left ME somehow responsible for her being on pre-mod. Hence this whole az cabal joke.
Like I somehow convinced all of you, as well as the italics, to have her put on pre-mod.
In any case, I'm quite enjoying being a High Priestess and I have particularly enjoyed all of six7s fanciful pics of all of us.
I think he has a few more up his sleeve - *waits expectantly*
az
Chuckle...
az, I also wondered if the premod *is* actually being effective, in terms of altering her behaviour. There has been much less D warring type posts in the Moral Majority thread, and the few that are there are *very* tame.
The same could be said of the dirty angels too - good on them for toning things down (and I suspect that Hoo's absence has a lot to do with that)
FB, it's not really me that needs to be told about baiting Apple

Arnie Appleaide - Inspector General of the Defenders of Freedom Posted Jun 10, 2005
yeah, it's better not to bait outright. It was just a funny thought, and I'm just glad I could share it with you, presumably without starting a big fight. Anyway, as Kea/Az noticed, I found what I think is a good way to poke fun without really being hurtful, with my re-enactment on the Hoo thread. I'm glad you 2 picked up on it at least. :) Anyway, since the title of this thread is "chuckle" here's a good laugh: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F2123566?thread=648388 Apparently * created another persona in an attempt to circumvent pre-moderation (U1575010). On the thread above s/he is playing dumb... "why am I starting out on pre-mod? I've never been here before!" What's funny is the list of conversation this *new* researcher is subscribed to, and the ACE greeting...

I admit not understanding the whole "Az Cabal" joke, but ok. I'll join, since you're trying so hard to get me to.

Yeah, I like the "friends" list. More like the "keeping tabs" or pa-trolling list.
