I'd like to recommend this, mainly because you had an entry on counter-strike, but not the game it spawned from. Plus, the more entries of mine approved, the happier I feel.
so, the entry should be on http://www.h2g2.com/A407099 ... I think...

It's pretty good, but there's quite a bit more that can be said... I've posted a few suggestions in the forum of the article itself; tell me what you think!

Please change the title to Half-Life (the computer game) so that people searching for a scientific article on the half-life of radioisotopes are not led to it by the search engine.
Thanks

I apologize, I have a habit of submitting something and THEN working on it. Anyway, it's now done (minus various finishing touches) and ready to be torn apart by anyone who feels compelled to do so.

I agree with anything previous commenters said, plus I think it could use some general editing for grammar.
That aside, I think it's worthy of a spot in the Edited Guide.

I share some of the views mentioned here and on the article threads, some more about the ground breaking non-level story line and multi player options would be nice, however as a scout I have put your page foward and you'll be glad to know that we think this entry is great, and it has now gone into the Editorial Process for future inclusion in the Edited Guide. When it does get into the Edited Guide, we will email to let you know, but please bear in mind it can take a while for entries to go through the sub-editing system.
So in other words good luck and happy fragging. I've just gone thru Half Life Opposing forces for a second time, it stays a winner.

Thank you, C Hawke.
I, unfortunately, have not been able to further my intense research on fragging and general death and destruction due to that four-letter word known as school...
Opposing Force I've played thru enough times to worry about having accidentally melted the CD permanently into the drive, but it still stays fun (though my major complaint is why expertly trained marines can't navigate through a WIDE STRAIGHT HALLWAY without my constant babysitting...)

actually, what I'd have to say about "fluidity" and non-levels is that in my opinion, it seems that whenever our protagonist, Freeman, enters the vent ducts into a completely different area, THAT would be considered a change in levels...

True about the levels thing, but mostly he can turn around, plus often you re-appear almost where you started but on the other side of a fence, wall etc. Me I could climb link fence when I was 10 - why can't freeman and the dude from OF? But anyway, the thing has moved on to the editors list so let's see what they make of it. What are you playing these days? Deux Ex?

not enough time, not enough machinery. I didn't have the patience for Software Etc to lower the price of GTA 2, so I'm currently reciting the word "Gouranga!" many, many times... ooh I'm evil, I am...
maybe Freeman can't climb fences because he's already carrying twice his weight in weaponry and ammunition? I don't know. Just WHERE does he keep that bazooka? in his pocket?
