On all this I have spent some time

And I have neglected my rhyme -

Left it alone for so long now

And I am not sure how

To create a rhyme to entertain

For upon me it does now strain.

I barely touch my poetry stuff

And when I do it feels so rough -

Rusted and decayed in a short space

And now I am losing face.

For once I was so neolithic

When it comes to my work

For my poetry I did shirk.

I hope you don't all mind

If I do now fall behind

In the rate which I write.

But, for now, I do take flight

And bid to you all good day.
