Hertfords Restaurants

Welcome to my Restaurants page, a pocket guide of where to eat in the town.
Indian
There are several in and around Hertford, the bestin my view being the Tika Cottage in Parliament Square. This is closely followed by Shaensha early in the evening.
Chinese
Again several Chinese Restaurants. The Paddy Fields seems to be top notch with a good selection of styles available under one roof.
Italian
We have 3 Italian eateries in Hertford, all of which are offerings of major chains, this means most people in the UK will at some point tried the fare of a 'Cafe Uno, Pizza Express or Ask Pizza' not all will have tried cafe pasta which is a Pizza Express spin off. The food is good, as is the Jazz on a wednesday evening. It's located in Fore Street, book in advance for a jazz wednesday as it gets full very early.
French
Cafe Rouge........ What more can I say!!! Well lots actually!, often a bit poncey, the one in Hertford is a bit different, due to it's location it has a large heated eating area during spring and summer, sit there and soak up the carbon dioxide and other pollution of the traffic around parliament square! Food, same style and quality that you would expect from a national chain.
Others
We also have two Thai Restaurants, and a restauarnt come pub called the Hillside on Port Hill. We are also promised a real Italian Restaurant in the near future.
Take Away's
To many to mention, Chinese, Indian, Kebabs, Pizza, Fish and Chips, Fried Chicken, all are available in Hertford...... enjoy!
