I like it! I've never heard of this group before, very interesting.
"Art and graphics employ the aesthetic favoured by the Nazis, with eagles, laurel wreaths, and blackletter typefaces figuring prominently, though the group does refrain from printing its pamphlets in Fraktur, likely for better readability."
I assume from this that Fraktur is a font commonly used by the Neo-Nazi groups?
Also, you mention that the group emplys a Minister of Propoganda - I was wondering how they are funded, if they have the money to employ someone.

No, Fraktur is an old German script - the "printed" one, as opposed to Sütterlin.
Fraktur: http://www.library.yale.edu/cataloging/music/fraktur.htm
Sütterlin: http://z.about.com/d/genealogy/1/0/C/X/suetterlin-800.jpg
Old German books are nearly always printed in Fraktur, and Sütterlin was the normal handwritten form. That changed after WW2.
Maybe I need a footnote...
They're all volunteers, "employs" doesn't mean he's paid

According to the online Merriam-Webster, "employ" means
1 a: to make use of (someone or something inactive)
b: to use (as time) advantageously
c (1): to use or engage the services of (2): to provide with a job that pays wages or a salary
2: to devote to or direct toward a particular activity or person
Only one of those definitions actually includes the potential for payment.

Ok, yes. However, maybe it's just me but if you use the word 'employ' in reference to a position in an organisation, it sounds like a job. Maybe something like 'A member of the group operates as Minister of Propoganda' would be clearer.

Well, it *is* a job - a task he's appointed to. He just isn't paid for it. Sorry, but the other formulation sounds rather awkward° just for avoiding the word "employ".
°I love the word awkward because it's awkward to spell, so fitting!

Btw, the OED has employ as:
verb 1 give work to (someone) and pay them for it. 2 make use of. 3 keep occupied.

However, if it's misleading, maybe 'occupy' would be better?

I would write it as:
"the FDÄ even employs a Minister of Propaganda among its volunteers."
(nb: employs rather than employ in this sense)

Changed it to "To this end, the FDÄ even has its own Minister of Propaganda." Thought that was simplest
