... but I can make a list of all the people I *wish* that I've met. It mostly comprises British Shakespearean actors.
Since I live in Southern California, though, people automatically assume that I've met lots of stars. When I went back East for a year, everyone would ask, awed, 'You're from California? Have you, like, met all those people in Hollywood?'
Well, I take that back, it's not strictly true that I've met absolutely *no* celebrities. Because I once played in a backup string orchestra for Mark O'Connor, and I've eaten dinner with the late Sir Stuart Hampshire, a philosopher. And I once saw a car commercial being filmed outside Symphony Hall in San Diego. But I don't think that really counts.
