i would like to become a sub-editor, because although I haven't the time to come up with entries that I feel belong in the Guide, I do have the time to edit, and would probably do well. Thanks.

Hi there, Profanity42!
I'm glad that you're interested in being a sub. However, it's generally a good idea to spend some time becoming more familiar with the site -- and especially with how the Edited Guide and the Peer Review process work -- before diving into something like this.
Looking at your entry currently in Peer Review, I do get the impression that you're not entirely aware yet of the guidelines and expectations we have for Edited Guide entries -- and that would be a really important thing to learn about before being a sub.
Do you have any questions about how it all works here?
