Unfortunately, I enjoy correcting people. I jump at the chance to insult their grammatical inconsistency, their poor literacy and their inability to distinguish between a plural and a possessive (how can apostrophes possibly be so confusing to so many people?)
Sub-editiorship seems like the ideal opportunity to correct the errors of anonymous individuals without the need to duck the inevitable punch in the face that usually greets such behaviour.
Give me a go - I'll cross your 't's, dot your 'i's (and your lower case 'j's) with pleasure.
