A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor

my AIM screen name is tylerm00dy. I am a college student in Pennsylvania. I am especially interested in music (all time periods, most current genres) technology (Linux, Windows, games, the Internet) and Drum and Bugle Corps (the Reading Buccaneers and Phantom Regiment). I haven't made any recent contributions to the site; to be truthful, I have just come back from a long hiatus from h2g2. Contributing to the site as a sub-editor would provide incentive to become a more active member, though. If it means anything, my SAT verbal score was 730 (highest possible is 800), so I am a proficient user of the English language.

Hi TylerMoody and thanks for volunteering. I'm going to be sending out some subbing tests this afternoon. Don't be put off, it's just to see at what stage all of our volunteers are with the h2g2 Writing Guidelines, so we can see if you need any pointers before we let you loose on a real entry.

Keep your eyes on your in-box - and thanks again for stepping forward!

Jimster
(on behalf of the h2g2 Team)

I just realized that I've abandoned the email address that was listed in my profile. Please resend the test, as I have updated to my current email address.
