Hi,
I'm interested in becoming one of your sub-editors.
I enjoy reading and have a good command of English grammar and spelling. I don't say I'm perfect, but I know the difference between my 'it's' and my 'its'!
I am willing to devote the time to edit at least two entries per month. Although I'm sort of 80% certain I want to do it, the only way I'll find out for sure is to have a go. I hope you'll let me.
Cheers

"but I know the difference between my 'it's' and my 'its'!"
Read that quickly and it sounds a bit rude.
(Sorry, serious forum. Behave, B...)

Hi Nonentity and thanks for volunteering. I'm going to be sending out some subbing tests this afternoon. Don't be put off, it's just to see at what stage all of our volunteers are with the h2g2 Writing Guidelines, so we can see if you need any pointers before we let you loose on a real entry.
Keep your eyes on your in-box - and thanks again for stepping forward!
