I'd love to be a sub-ed. I am a full-time freelance writer and a big fan of H2G2 and its aims. I think I've got all the qualifications: I've got a computer with Word on it and the "full-time freelance writer" bit should cover the command of English and plenty of free time qualifications.

Thanks for volunteering. As you've just joined h2g2, I'd like to suggest you take a look at Peer Review first. That's where entries for the h2g2 Edited Guide come from and in many ways a few good suggestions and a bit of encouragement there can be as important as any other volunteer activity - and it also gives us the chance to see your interests and to get to know you better.
If you're still interested in volunteering after that, then give us a shout
