Application to be a sub-editor - mikeo_s the gregarious (U201990)

Hello!
I'd like to apply to become a h2g2 Sub-Editor. Not only do I have regular access to the Internet and some free time each month, I have also had real-life experience of subediting - I edited a dozen articles for the proceedings at a technical conference last year. As a qualified engineer, I am also aware of keeping any piece of writing clear, concise and accurate - I'm hoping this may prove to be useful for sub-editing.
Thank you in advance for considering my application.
Mikeo.

Fab - I've just contacted your friend Iago too.
It'll be my pleasure to invite you to take our standard subbing test, Michael. I'll drop you a line by email shortly to discuss it further, but in the meantime - cheers!
Jimster

Yeah, thanks very much for the email! (I got it second time around, I think.)
