Not for a couple of months yet I'm afraid - we usually do three or four rounds of recruiting a year...

Oh bother! What an awful shame. Would you happen to have any draft copies that I could practice on in the meantime? It would be nice to get a bit of training in beforehand.

A great place to polish your sub-editing skills is in the Flea Market (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/Writing-FleaMarket) where you can adopt entries (see how on the page) and submit them to Peer Review.
This has the double benefit of giving you sub-editing practice and saving some great entries from obscurity.
