I should very much like to volunteer my skills as a sub-editor on h2g2. I spent four years as a transcriber on Hansard sub-editing disconnected portions of standing committee debates from tape. This involved omitting repetitions, redundancies and rewriting some of the more difficult passages of the spoken word better to convey the speaker's meaning - in other words, 'air brushing' text.
During my years as a civil servant, I wrote many reports and attendance notes for court proceedings (mostly as a children's case worker in the Official Solicitor's department).
Er ... the above sounds pompous. Sorry!

Thank you very much for this.
We've just recently completed a recruitment round but I make sure you're down for the next one.

Thanks. Rather grateful you'll contact me later rather than sooner coz I've just been fiddling with my computer and have somehow 'unenhanced' - if there is such a word - its performance.
See ya
