A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor

Hello 
I've been having a look round, getting to know GuideML and entry style and would love to become a Sub-editor.
I edit people's writing in 'real' life and can spell everything except weird, relevant and centenary, which I have to put through Word, but I'm working on it 
. I've been here for a little over a week and started to have a look in the Writers Workshop (when I can find it) to help reinvigorate it, if I can.
I enjoy reading about new things and will definitely be able to sub at least one thing a week, just try and stop me! I would love to contribute in a worthwhile way to h2g2.
