A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor

I'm volunteering to be a sub-editor because I want to feel like I've contributed to this fantastic site! As for myself, I'm the sort of grammatical perfectionist whom errors of punctuation annoy, I've got special interests in maths, science generally, and classics, and I have written one article for h2g2 so far, which is on the line-up for the Edited Guide. I hope this blatant self-publication is going to land me a job . . . .

Dear Catenary,
Thanks for volunteering - and the compliment (I'm always chuffed to hear how much people love h2g2). I'll add you to the list and will be in touch when I do my next round of recruiting. In the meantime, it would be an excellent idea for you to spend some time commenting in Peer Review, if you haven't done so already.

Oops . . . sorry . . . other commitments are too much for me at the moment. No sub-editing for me, I'm afraid!
