A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor
Application to be a Sub Editor

I would like to volunteer to work as a sub editor. I am very good at proof reading text for spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as having a passion for archives! I have a very wide range of interests, and love to surf about the net checking up on things. I have had quite a bit of experience converting stories and mathematical documentation from pigeon to correct English.
Thanks for considering me,
Paul

Dear Paul,
Thanks for volunteering First of all it would be great if you could fill in your Personal Space so that the Community can start talking to you. Then it would be a good idea for you to look over the entries in Peer Review so that you're familiar with the sorts of pieces that come up in the subbing process.
See you soon

Hi Anna,
Sorry I haven't answered for a (very) long time - I've just managed to stumble out of a long period of computer trouble.
I've done as you ask, and spent some time looking the peer review section.....what now?

Hi Paul,
I've still got you on my list - I'm hoping to do some recruitment this week, so if you're still interested, I'll be in touch. I'll be sending the email to the account listed in your preferences...
See you soon
Anna
