A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor

I'd like to volunteer to be a regular Sub-Editor. I already have a Sub's badge on my page as a result of the work I did on the Entries that I didn't write on the World Cup Football University project, currently on the front page, but I'd like to try my hand at some regular subbing. I think that I can spell and punctuate pretty well and that my general knowledge is not at all bad, so I'm confident that I could do a competent job. I'm yours if you'll have me!

We certainly will! Since you've already done some subbing I don't think we have to wait until I do the next round of recruitment, we'll get you straight in. Might have to wait for some entries to come in from the Scouts though

I think it's my turn to do some Scouting next week, so I'll get on the case!
Speaking of Entries waiting to be subbed, may I ask what's happening with my Entry on 'Dino Zoff- the Footballer' - A601769 ? It was recommended more than a week ago, but as yet there's no sign of an edited version. I ask only because it's a piece that's very relevant to the World Cup, so it'd be nice if it made it on to the front page before the end of the month, while the Cup is still going on.

There's a copy at A759620 - I've emailed the sub about it. Hopefully it will be back soon. Fingers crossed
