As a fledgling journalist, I thought what better way is there to cleaner writing than some sub-editing practise. No problems with spelling and grammar.

Sorry. Couldn't resist this: in your posting you spell the noun, practice, with an -s. That's a problem in British English, which is apparently what h2g2 requires. Of course, if you're American you probably think that's too pedantic since the syntax poses no ambiguity. And I have to say you're right.

Excellent flynn, thanks for volunteering I'll add you to the list and will be in touch when I do my next round of recruiting.
Malv, would you like to be a sub too?

Hi flynn,
Before we get you into the Subs' volunteer scheme, it might be worth filling in your Personal Space so that other members of the h2g2 Community can start talking to you. If you need some help, give me a shout
