Hello,
My Researcher Number is 188007 and my nickname is generally Jack Naples, otherwise the similar Jake Novgorod. I have a degree in linguistics (2:1) and have had occasional experience of proof-reading before. Earlier this year I gained a TEFL qualification and have since gained some English teaching experience. Recently, I have been honing my skills of discernment on the British English thread, where I have generally held my own.
Please could you consider me to be a sub-editor here on H2G2?
Thanks,
Jack Naples

Hello Jack Naples,
I'm really sorry, I don't know why I haven't seen your message before. We'd love to have you as a Sub, please don't take my silence as an indicator of anything other than, er, me not looking at my personal space properly.
Next time I do a round of recruiting I'll give you a shout. You shouldn't have to wait too long. In the meantime, it might be worth hanging out in Peer Review, to see the sorts of entries that are getting into the Guide.
Anna
