Though most of my formal training has been in engineering, I've always excelled more at speaking and writing than solving formulae. As an engineer I have an eye for detail and a desire for simplicity and clarity, while as a writer I attempt beauty and style as best I can. As a sub-editor I hope this duality can prove useful.
