A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor
Becoming a sub-editor

I would like to find out how I can become a volunteer sub-editor. This is something I have wanted to do for a number of months but have put this off because I felt I should write something for the guide first. However, I don't really know where to begin with writing an entry and aubbing is what I am really interested in. So I have decided to just volunteer now rather than waiting any longer. I have been on a two day sub-editing course at the London College of Printing, although I have not had much practical experience. However, I am quick to learn and willing to dedicate my free time to improving my subbing skills. I look forward to hearing from someone.
Thanks

Hi LeylieSpice,
Thanks for volunteering to be a Sub. If you've done a course, great I'll put your name down and next time we get to recruiting, I'll drop you a line. In the meantime, it might be worth filling in your Personal Space so that people know who you are and take a look at Peer Review, so that you can see the sorts of entries that are coming up.
