A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Sub-editor
Hi! I'm volunteering.

At some point I'd like to volunteer as a university field researcher and undertake a six week project.
However right now it looks like you're getting swamped with entries that need editing, so I'm volunteering as a sub-editor first.
I hope I'll be able to help.
Aside from editors for new entries, do you also have people who look over the "non-entry" section of the site? I noticed some minor errors that could easily be fixed.

Hi Tiresias,
Thanks for volunteering for Subbing.
We currently have a small waiting list, but I'd be glad to add you to it and let you know when a vacancy appears. At the moment, we have just enough Subs for the number of entries we put up each day (5), so there's no immediate problem.
Typos in Edited Guide Entries *are* something we like to fix on-the-spot, though, so if you find any, post them to the Editorial Feedback page at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A388334 where someone will spot it - ta.
