I'd like to volunteer my services as a sub-editor. Over the past ten years I have completed four novels, none of which have been published. This is in part due to the fact that the first three were rubbish, and in part due to the fact that I haven't pushed the fourth one. I've one edited Guide entry under my belt, and one recommended. I have experience of web design, and run my own archaeology site ([URL removed by moderator]- This site may or may not be there, as I haven't payed my server fees in a while).

Hi Frogbit,
Thanks for volunteering for Subbing. You sound eminently qualified - a little overqualified, in fact... 
We currently have a small waiting list of people waiting to take up the heady role of Subeditor, but I'd be glad to add you to the list and let you know when a vacancy comes up.
