Reason for application:
I do have a bit of spare time on my hands at the moment. Whilst I'm not a sub-editor or journalist in any professional capacity or have any specialist skills in this area, I am very keen to learn and help out on the guide.
Additionally, I do have a love of the English language which may prove useful here 
So, whilst I am a little apprehensive, I would like to apply to become a sub-editor for the guide.
