h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm a student, so I have weekends.
I do English and am supposedly amazing at it.
I write essays in reasonably flowing prose.
I enjoy reading what others have done.
I already have the experience of an ACE and a Guru, so am used to dealing with people and their problems.
I really want to help even more than I am now.
People here tend to be nice to me, which drives me to make an effort.

So, having done all that , please oh please let me be a Sub-Editor. I'll make my best effort to find the time...
