Thanks for the information, Crystal. I find the site extremely confusing. I thought I had posted a reply to TRELOS 38, yo female from Scotland. Did I instead post the reply to Hot and Spicy? Otherwise, where does hot and spicy come into it?

Please remember that h2g2 is a message board and anybody can post at anytime, there is no such thing as a private conversation here.

If you wish to speak to a specific researcher, just click on their name.
You will be taken in a new browser to their personal space, and you can post them a message there.
The people who have posted in this conversation will all read your message, unless they have "unsubscribed" from it.
It could be that they have not logged in since they posted here, and that is why they haven't replied to you.
Until you get the hang of things, I suggest you start your post off with"Hi Miss Hot & Spicy..." then write what you were going to say.
Or post a message to both her and Trelos 38, by saying "Oh, by the way, Trelos 38....." in a new paragraph after your message to Miss Hot & Spicy.

I know it's confusing to start with, but if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, there should have been an ACE greet you at your space, and that is what they have gone there for, to answer your questions.

I am going to check that someone is there now.

It would help if you subscribe to your own space, then anyone who does drop in forand a chat will show up in your conversations, as it's very easy to miss messages that way, if you aren't subscribed...
