You can only play this if your travelling by night.
I used to play when travelling between Banbury & High Wycombe on The Chiltern Line. As the train moves watch The Moon very carefully, you will notice it arcs across the sky, giving you actual proof that The Earth is definately round! The faster the train moves the quicker The Moon proscribes the arc across the sky.
It looks really cool.
This is normally made very easy if you are travelling in a very straight line, especially alongside a motorway or canal

1st time I ever spotted it I'd been staring at the moon for about 20 mins, listening to The KLF. and then i thought "wow, look at the moon, look at what it's doing! That is so effing cool!"
then from every week onwards during the autumn i just stared at that moon in both directions. and the direct it arcs actually alters depending on what direction your travelling in.

Ooh
*rushes to the station to buy a ticket on the next train* >>>
<<< *realises there are no buses at this time of night to get to the station*
I shall watch for that next time Thanks. As I said on the PR thread, I'm going to go through and add some bits and pieces tomorrow, so can I write this in?
Key: Complain about this post
