Apparently there's a New Isle Of Wight in the middle of Virginia in the US - miles from the sea...

Who's John Doggett?
Oh, and by the way, , Happy Birthday, when was your birthday?
My birthday was a huge non-event, but then I didn't really want to do anything massive really anyway, I don't drink, (well, not what some people would call drinking, I don't mind the odd glass of wine)and all my friends were busy on the two weekends closest to my birthday!
Anyway...Wot are we doing about this meetup?

John Doggett is the agent who was bought in to investigate Mulders dissapperance in the X files.
As for the meet we're trying to sort a date. It's been decided (by me to speed things up acting on a suggestion by Bluebottle) that the meet will be held in Brockenhurst somewhen between leaving College/Uni and starting again.

I know that don't I. I know some people have already said. How is every one with a date in July?
Dates coming soon
Happy Little Elf - Who's your favourite Dave? Posted Apr 15, 2003
Right having taken evrything into consideration I am now proposing the following two dates. My reasons for doing so are as follows.
The majority of us already in the string would have finished college and so would be able to get to the meet.
Schools haven't finished so there won't be as many children about.
By holding the meet-up midweek the roads and venue (and the pub)should be reasonalby quite.
They're the only two days of the week that I can sensibly make.
So my proposed dates are
Tuesday 8th July and
Wednesday 9th July.
The date that gets most response will be the date of the meet up.
Dates coming soon
Kaz Posted Apr 19, 2003
either of those dates seem okay with me I think.
just voted hitchhikers for the big read.
