Cobblers! I took jui-jitsue lessons for years and I never once broke a bone or bled, and I got into loads of fights. Its just a way for thugs to glorify themselves and drag philisophcal sophistication into beating the living daylights out of an opponent.

I don't think so bud, I took ju-jitsu for years, and I never provoked a fight, instead I stepping into them, broke them up. I have many freinds in my dojo, and every single one of them is a good person. I've put people in the hospital with ju-jitsu, but the B*****d was beating a kid. I put him there without breaking a single one of his bones. All Dojo's are different and I'm sure there are "glorified thugs", But I know none. The gentle art(Ju-jitsu) is not about bone breaking, it's about not breaking bones.
