Pheroneous II

I too enjoyed this a lot. Original. Amusing.

A minor minor query. The mustard gas was in WW1 and the dustbowl migration in the early thirties. So I am left wondering how the taste for chillies acquired in the thirties helped him react favourably to the gas!! Or am I missing something.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. I was immensly impressed.

Thanks, both of you smiley - biggrin

In answer to your question, prolonged exposure to chili peppers hardens your insides until they're like cast iron - and outsides too - so by the time he was eighteen it would have taken sulfuric acid to etch him at all. smiley - winkeye

I suppose I should read things carefully before commenting! I saw "mustard gas" and assumed WW!, but now I see you wrote WW2 which, therefore, makes perfect sense.

Anyway, thanks again. Its coming across pieces like this that makes h2g2 worthwhile.
