Flattered though I am I have to say, as an academic myself, that an h2g2 article is not the sort of thing I would expect to see in a degree level bibliography.
Which bit are you interested in? I'll try to search out the original material for you. None of my writing is based on research done by me. My interest in ants springs from my name. My name springs from my research... in robotics!

We're doing a study on what different conditions affect the rate at which the pheromone trails are broken down, such as substrate and wind - any primary references you may have which are relevant would be much appreciated
