Hope everyone's week is off to a nice start I'm nursing a BIG hangover...I was to have worked all week-end...but the Husband & I have made up!!!! So, we played in the pool & ignored E's from my boss...actually, I did START to E him that I was drunk & he didn't need a drunk therapist working ! LOL!!! As I wrote, I began to think it was not such a good idea to TELL the boss that I was drunk. (see, I just don't DO lies) But instead of hitting the delete button-I do believe I hit the send icon! EEEkkkk!!!! I just wonder if the chap has a sense of humor?!? Guess I'll find out!
Seems during the holiday several of my clients were calling & asking for my extention...but I wasn't logged on...so the boss kept E-ing me asking for me to log on ASAP!!! Hope I still have a job!

I just phoned up the radio station, the conversation went something like this: (I was voting for them to be in the hot 30 chart)

me:hi it's a mad Skandal fan here!
Chris:ah, so I guess you want a vote for Skandal then
me:of course I do!
Chris:yeah they need it cos they dropped down last night....
me:yeah that is NOT good!
Chris:yeah, to number 28 last night
me:that is just not good enough!
Chris we've been getting loads of votes through..
me:oh good!
Chris: I dont mean just for Skandal, there's been for Modjo, Sonique, Madonna......
me:ah well, we need to get Skandal up to the top!
Chris:they do seem popular, ah well, we'll see what happens!
me:yep! Will do!

OK, let's see if that gets played on the radio! It wont be the first time I'm on! They are about to play the chart, so we hope Skandal aren't played until later! I went in shock when it got played so early last night! I'll let you know....

When I call the radio I always say,"This is Amazing Grace From Outter Space & I'm Needn' Some Music In My Face!" LOL!!!
They Always put me on & I always get to hear my request...they usually say something like: folks, how can you say no to THAT??
HA! Thing is, friends drop 'round telling me they heard me on the radio-seems my voice is unique in some sexy type manner!

Arrgh! You know what happened tonight? Well cos of the petrol crisis I didn't realise they were mainly using the line for people telling then what petrol stations were open so when they answered I said "hi, it's a mad Skandal fan here", and he was like "what?" And I thought "uh oh!!!" And he thought I was ringing up for that and I said "no! I'm ringing for the hot 30!" so he says "ok, who are you voting for?"

I did until it happened EVERYtime a client's family wanted to give them a message! My dead mother comes 'round ALL the time. Hi Walter, I'll be watching tomorrow (my time) I always cry my eyes out as they light the flame! Man it really ticked me off about those weirdos trying to grab & put out the torch! Good for the people who wouldn't let go!!!! I'm looking forward to getting my blood flowing as I yell at the TV! LOL! I love it all.....gymnastics & swimming are my favorite...besides iceskating.....I can't believe New York is trying to have it there in 1012! There's no room!!!

We seem to be chatting on all sorts of forums but I thought I would get back to this one where it is more peaceful and people aren't dropping by every ten minutes talking about goodness knows what. I mean, it is all right for us to do that .... My little friend painted my thumb nail with red glitter paint on the weekend, and it has not washed off after a couple of showers etc. I think it looks kinda something, but it reminds me of the little one so I am in no hurry for it to disappear. When she left us at the hospital the other evening (her mum is still in there) she said to my beloved "I miss you a thousand daffodils." How about that? I think you and this friend of ours who is in hospital must be very alike. Strong, soft but big-hearted, life-lovers, no matter how bad the breaks just take the kicking and get up and get on with it as best as you possibly can. And thank you for asking about my beloved's mum: She is out of hospital now, and walking on crutches pretty well. She is another determined and brave lady. She just had a book published and it went on sale here in Hobart last week. Take care and here are some snowdrops from our garden to remind you of early Spring.

alright Pandora, I give you permission to haunt my dreams but they'd better be NICE dreams! But not too nice so that I wake up and cry! (I'm the sensitive type). I had a terrible nightmare that my best friend was killed once and woke up and I had tears runnng down my face! I was also laughing at myself when I realised it was all a dream! Thank God it was!

Ah well......life, I've learnt to love it, and I want to ENJOY IT TO THE MAX!!!!!!!! Hopefully that James look-a-like I know might come onto me one day soon

I'm very glad your lady's Mum is getting about. It's important to keep going!!! As for the little one's Mum...I would gladly take on ALL her pain just so she could be with such a darling child. I've never been able to carry a child to term, but have been blessed with many youngsters who've loved me. My last miscarriage was on Mother's Day (of all days) and it has just made me closer to all my friends children. Jackie has 8...and wants more. She says I'm the only person who calls to ask when the kids will be home, instead of when they won't be there! LOL! I'll say an extra prayer for the little girl's Mum. Life is so unfair. But as my dear Mama use to say, "You get use to hangn' if ya' hang long enough!"

Hey, the snowdrops I sent to you were flowers. Maybe you don't have them in your area. They usually come at the end of Winter, but because we planted ours late they are flowering well into Spring. They grow in clumps, maybe nine inches high or thereabouts. Lovely little bell-shaped white flowers, not many to a clump, rather like the way that daffodils grow. They don't have a perfume, but they are delicate little heralds of Spring. They hold very special memories for me from a childhood long since gone but never forgotten, so they get sent, once in a while because they are after all special, to special people. Like you.

"You ARE too sweet! Yes snowdrops!!! I had them in the first house I rented here in the Village! They're lovely...they make me think of thing s tiny & magical, like fairys!!! Snowdrops are on my list to plant in the spring! So, I was so dense Do, you also have them there in purple? I always laugh when I see purple snow drops! Never mind about not eating YELLOW snow...what , I wonder would happen if you ate purple snow??? We know how it went yellow, but what ever could have caused purple?"
