So, if you fancy coming along, pack your beer wellies and let us know.
Any suggestions for a way to be recognisable?

I will be there and if you want I'll even wear the natty little H2G2 t-shirt I bought at the Hyde Park summer Birthday meet

I'm going to spend two weeks in/around London or thereabout (no clear plan) from 18th of July till 3rd of August.
Is it too late to make the arrangeures to have the festival a week earlyer?
Oh, well Never been closer!

Well, it is on for the week preceding Sat. 5th, so you can probably nip along. It's just me who can only go on the Saturday, blasted job!!!!

Even if you can only go for an afternoon I would say to do so. And just go for it, have a look at what the programme says and get drinking (taking someone else and drinking differing drinks means you get to taste more). The other tip is to get a pint glass and only drink halves

Spot on tip about the glasses
I'm only able to make it on the Saturday aswell, and the time I get there, if I can, depends on how early I finish delivering letters Should be able to make it for around 1pm though, if I can go.

You couldn't stop me!
I have, in a beer fueled decision from last weekend, agreed to meet a couple of my friends there, not long after it opens As far as I know, Phil is still coming as well and there might be a couple of others in the vicinity.

I'm now up to 90% able to come along. The cash has been saved up. The wife's given permission (she may or may not come along herself). The only thing that still may hold me back is work. I'll be up from 4am and at work from 5am. So, it now all depends on how tired I am when I finish at 9.30am. If I ain't too tired, I'll be getting a train somewhere between 10 and 10.30, so I should be there for around 12 - 12.30
If I can make it, I'll be there in my SubEd t-shirt, but at my height and bar leaning skills I'll be hard to miss
