The h2g2 Towers Challenge

Way back in the mists of time h2g2 wasn't under the protective wing of the BBC. It inhabited an unusually tall building in a quieter back street of London. Ferreted away in the turret was DNA's 'office' and some of us who visited had the luck to climb the stairs for a peek! The legends of early h2g2 were (usually) affectionately known as 'The Italics' and the building which housed them became 'The Towers'.

So, your challenge1 is to send us your impressions of how you imagine 'The Towers' would have looked - flights of fancy are encouraged.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Entries must be all your own, original work.
  • You must include your h2g2 user number and name with your entry.
  • Only graphics in jpg or gif format will be accepted.
  • They should not exceed 400 pixels width or height. Larger submissions may be allowed but will be reduced accordingly.
  • Entries must comply with the rules of this site.
  • No closing date is set as yet and, if entries warrant it, a winner will be picked every week and appear in The Post.
